Friends of Italian Day

Founded in 1963 by Tarcisio Boffo, Boffo Properties approaches development from a neighborhood-building perspective, essentially focusing on how each new project can add to and enhance each community. Our Boffo Properties residential development experience ranges from stacked townhouses in Burnaby to mixed-market and non-market homes in East Vancouver, to city homes and apartments near Queen Elizabeth Park. Additionally, our experience encompasses significant social partnerships in market and non-market multi-family development. Working for the past five years in partnership with The Kettle Society, we have experience navigating ongoing Community Planning processes in conjunction with more complicated rezoning applications. Furthermore, our income producing portfolio includes a combination of commercial and industrial space in New Westminster and Vancouver. And throughout this, our Boffo Building team manages the entire construction and build out process for both our residential and commercial/industrial portfolio. With a strong team both at the forefront and behind the scenes, we believe in a creative and thoughtful approach to development, designing and building new homes and places to work.

The Onni Group is a proud sponsor of Italian Day on The Drive for Courage. As one of North America’s leading private real estate developers, Onni has extensive experience designing, developing, building and managing innovative projects. As a fully integrated company that directly oversees every step in the development process, Onni has built over 15,000 homes. In addition, the company owns and manages more than 10.5 million square feet of commercial property, over 7,200 rental apartment units, and has an additional 28 million square feet in various stages of development. With offices in Vancouver, Toronto, Chicago, Los Angeles, Seattle, Phoenix and Mexico, Onni continues to expand and diversify into new markets throughout North America.

Barcelona Media Design is a boutique style creative agency based in downtown Vancouver BC; and by ‘boutique’ we mean exclusive in both our project development approach and dedication to our clients. All our work is the result of a creative process that always starts with assessing your true unique needs. Think of us as you would think of your personal tailor. Only, our fabric and thread are ideas, or better said, they are visualization.

We look forward to seeing you in a new suit.

Statement:

Creativity is limitless

However, we believe (and that’s open for discussion) that its principles are the same all the time and the only thing that changes is its form. For us ‘design is design’ – meaning – it doesn’t really matter if you need a new logo for your start up, or want to develop new marketing material for an upcoming music festival (or any other event for that matter). You might want to introduce a new product on the market or you have just started thinking about that ‘unique idea’ that still needs to be materialized. For us, the creative core is the same one. Designing a vodka label is not so different from designing a piece of jewelry. Putting together a book for printing, redesigning a magazine, creating a layout for a billboard ad, editing a video, producing a leaflet, doing a photo shoot, designing a web page, prototyping a new app… believe it or not, it all comes from the same source. We just use different tools to come up with a final cut. It has been said many times that a good idea is the simple one that can be easily developed and equally successfully delivered across the wide range of final applications, no matter how different they are. Easier said than done, but that is the premise we have in mind every time we take on a new project and we love every second of it, because to be honest, without the real passion we wouldn’t be doing it at all.

We have been a long time supporter of Italian Day on The Drive, and although there won’t be a street festival this year due to COVID-19, we are proud to continue to support their community initiative – Italian Day on The Drive for Courage.

Wishing everybody all the best from your local Shopper’s Drug Mart.
